Remembering 1916

The Easter 1916 Rising is one of the most exciting and interesting times in our history and it is important that we commemorate and remember the 1916 Irish Rebellion and the men and women who fought for Ireland’s freedom.

Researching Rebel Sisters, my novel about the Gifford sisters and the 1916 Rising, I visited many places connected to the events of Rising that helped me, as a writer, to build a better picture of that time.
