Her love affair with cookery began in her parent’s seaside hotel, followed by her training in Paris and her years working in one of Dublin’s finest restaurants. But when she marries Liam she is happy to hang up her chef’s hat and cook for her family and friends instead.

The School for Cooks opens its doors and Alice begins to teach a group of total strangers to create food that is tasty and delicious… And in the comfort of the kitchen these strangers find that there is much to learn, not just about baking and sautéing but about recipes for life.
